Raven’s Style Mishap

How on earth did Raven Symone go from this….

to this…

Sure, her fashion back in the days of the Cosby Show was a bit misguided, but I just explain that away with the decade it was made in. But in this 2008 photo for an appearance at an event sponsored by Smet her look is inexcusable. Somebody needs to get this child a mirror or at least a stylist with some brains. Just because it comes in your size doesn’t mean you should wear it. I don’t know if any of you saw her Flashdance inspired getup from a concert promoting her “That’s So Raven” Disney Channel show, but I did, and I thought it too cruel to unleash the photo upon you. Here in 2009 she seems to have made a brief comeback.

I’m not a big fan of the jacket, but she does have a polished look with her hair firmly under control. She appears a world away from her 2008 style mishaps while being honored at the Trumpet Awards this past January. Hopefully she can keep this up.
